Training, homework and progress
Follow your dog's training, practise at home, and keep a log of your own.
Sessions and scores
Each dog’s page shows every session with your trainer’s notes, the programme step and each skill scored from 0 to 10.
Progress reports
When your trainer sends a progress report, you get an email and it appears in Handlr, with scores, photos and video.
Homework
Your trainer sets exercises after a session. They show on Home under Homework. Tick off each day you practised and send photos or videos back so your trainer can see how it went. Your trainer can comment on a moment in a video you sent, and you’re notified when they do. Each piece of homework has its own conversation, so you can ask a question or say how it’s going and your trainer replies there.
Choose the hour you’d like a reminder to practise, and Handlr counts your practice streak.
Your own training log
Choose Log training on your dog’s page to record a practice: how long, where, how distracting it was, how it went, and the skills you worked on. You can use it with or without a trainer.
Grading your dog
Score skills from 0 to 10 on the same scale trainers use. Your scores sit beside your trainer’s and are never mixed in. Share your log with your trainer so the next session starts where you left off.
